Yasunori Mitsuda
Yasunori Mitsuda ( Japanese 光 田 康 典 ; Mitsuda Yasunori ; born January 21, 1972 in Tokuyama (today: Shūnan )) is a Japanese composer and musician. He became known for his music for video games , e.g. B. Chrono Trigger and Mario Party .
biography
After being inspired by film music and the composer Henry Mancini , he moved to Tokyo to attend a music school. He was allowed to participate in several performances, which gave him an insight into the music business.
With the help of the Final Fantasy composer Nobuo Uematsu , he got a position in the sound designer team at Square , now Square Enix, in April 1992 .
There he first inserted music from other composers into video games. After talking to Square Vice President Hironobu Sakaguchi in 1994, he switched to the Chrono Trigger team. He composed a total of 54 soundtracks for this game.
