Yasuto Wakizaka ( Japanese 脇 坂 泰斗 , Wakizaka Yasuto ; born June 6, 1995 in Yokohama , Kanagawa Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .

Career

Yasuto Wakizaka learned to play football in the youth teams of FC Hongo and Kawasaki Frontale as well as the university team of Hannan University . From September 2017 to January 2018 he was loaned to Kawasaki Frontale by the University. After the loan, he was permanently signed by Frontale in February 2018. The club from Kawasaki , a city on the main island of Honshu , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . In 2018 he celebrated the Japanese championship with the team. In 2019 he won the J. League Cup with Frontale . In the final, they defeated Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo .
