Yavuz Özkan (born May 19, 1985 in Denizli ) is a Turkish football goalkeeper .

Player career

Özkan started playing football in the Denizlispor youth team . In 2004 he received his first professional contract with Denizli Belediyespor . Yavuz was a regular goalkeeper there for two years. The first division club Bursaspor noticed him and signed him in 2006. The goalkeeper played his first game for Bursa in the 2006/07 season against Galatasaray Istanbul .

During the winter break of the 2007/08 season he was awarded to Tarsus İdman Yurdu for half a season .

For the second half of the 2012/13 season he was loaned to the second division Adanaspor for the rest of the season . A return to Bursaspor did not follow, which Özkan moved to the second division Şanlıurfaspor free of charge .

Here, however, he was only used once in the cup. During the 2013/14 winter break, he signed a contract with his youth club Denizlispor, but was not used here either, so the contract was canceled again at the end of the season. At the end of August 2014, he signed a contract with third division promoted Fatih Karagümrük SK .
