Yelda Reynaud

Yelda Reynaud (born January 17, 1972 in Vienna , Austria ) is an actress of Turkish film.

Life

The daughter of a Turkish family speaks fluent German, French, Italian, Spanish, Arabic and English in addition to Turkish. She completed her theater studies in Paris. Awarded as “best actress” several times at major film festivals (including the Istanbul International Film Festival 2005), she also gained fame in Germany in 2007 when she was seen in Fatih Akıns On the Other Side . Even before her career in Turkey, Reynaud worked on German and French films and played in the theater for years. At the end of 2006, Yelda Reynaud founded her own film production company together with the actress Özlem Düvencioglu. Since the end of November 2007 she has been successfully playing the leading role in the Turkish version of Behind Bars - Der Frauenknast . She plays Aliye there , which corresponds to Walter in the German version .
