Yingli Solar's European headquarters has been in Zurich since the end of 2012.

Yingli was the first Chinese company to sponsor a soccer world cup with the 2010 FIFA World Cup .

The group is also one of the first sponsors from the People's Republic of China in the 1st Bundesliga. In January 2011, Yingli signed a contract with FC Bayern Munich , which initially provides for a partnership until the 2013/2014 season. The aim of the company is to become better known in Germany because the company, despite its size, has so far hardly been noticed here.
