Yogurette is a chocolate bar from the Italian confectionery company Ferrero , which is filled with yoghurt cream and fruit granules. Strawberry is usually available as a flavor . The brand is protected as a word mark .

Product description

According to its own information, Yogurette is the first chocolate with a yogurt cream filling and was introduced in Germany in 1970.

The product in the strawberry flavor and, since 2017, available in stores as “Yoghurt Sensation”. For a short time, another flavor is produced from time to time. The editions blueberry , Brazilian summer (white & lime), blackberry , blackberry & elderberry, blackberry & vanilla flavor, cranberry , strawberry-rhubarb, pomegranate, blueberry, raspberry , mango and winter dream (baked apple & cinnamon) were offered.

The manufacturer recommends storing the chocolate bars in the refrigerator and eating them chilled.

controversy

The organization Food Watch criticized in 2009 that the advertising message and nutrition claim "Tastes yogurt-light" a deception is the consumer because it contains a higher calorific value and fat content than comparable products. At the time, there was no nutritional information on the packaging or on the product website. In 2012, the company removed the statement “light yoghurt” and replaced it with “heavenly”.
