Yongdzin Pandita Yeshe Gyeltshen

Yongdzin Pandita Yeshe Gyeltshen ( Tib. Yongs 'dzin pandita ye shes rgyal mtshan * 1713 , † 1793 ) or Tshechogling Yongdzin Yeshe Gyeltshen ( tshe mchog gling yongs' dzin ye shes rgyal mtshan ) was a clergyman and author of the Gelug -School of Tibetan Buddhism , he was tutor ( yongs' dzin ) of the 8th Dalai Lama Jampel Gyatsho (1758–1804).

He received his training in the Trashilhünpo monastery . In 1756 he founded the Trashi Samtenling Monastery ( bkra shis bsam gtan gling ) in Gyirong (Kyirong). In 1782 he built the Tshechogling Monastery ( tshe mchog gling ) on the southern bank of the Lhasa He , one of the four temples of regency ( gling bzhi ). He was the 1st representative of the incarnation series of the Tshechogling Hutuktus .

He is the author of a work on the masters of the Lamrim tradition (1787).
