Yoshinari Takagi ( Japanese 高木 義 成 Takagi Yoshinari ; born May 20, 1979 in Tokyo Prefecture ) is a former Japanese football player .

Career

Takagi learned to play football on the school team at Shutoku High School and the college team at Kokushikan University . He signed his first contract in 2000 with the Verdy Kawasaki (today: Tokyo Verdy). The club played in the highest league in the country, the J1 League . In 2004 he won the Kaiser Cup with the club . At the end of the 2005 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League . In 2007 he was runner-up in the J2 League with the club and was promoted back to the J1 League. At the end of the 2008 season, the club was relegated to the J2 League. For the club he completed 194 league games. In 2010 he moved to the first division club Nagoya Grampus . With the club he became Japanese champion in 2010 . For the club, he completed 13 first division games. In 2016 he moved to the second division FC Gifu . For the club he completed 31 league games. At the end of 2017 he ended his career as a football player.
