Joseph "Yossi" Vardi ( Hebrew יוסי ורדי, * 1942 in Tel Aviv ) is an Israeli entrepreneur , investor and political advisor .
Vardi founded or managed around 60 companies (such as Israel Chemicals or ITL Optronics ). He invested $ 75,000 in his son Arik's company: Mirabilis (which was bought by AOL for 407 million two years later), and $ 1.1 million in SimilarWeb . He advises politicians on Middle East issues and leads the economic cooperation negotiations with Jordan , Syria and the Palestinians .
