The Yovkov Point (English; Bulgarian Йовков нос Jowkow nos ) is a headland on the southwest coast of Greenwich Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 3.6 km southeast of the Kersebleptes Nunatak , 2.2 km south-southwest of Lloyd Hill , 2.8 km southwest of Tile Ridge and 2.1 km west-northwest of Hebrizelm Hill . The headland marks the north-western limit of the entrance to Kramolin Cove .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it between 2004 and 2005 while surveying the Tangra Mountains on neighboring Livingston Island . The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2006 after the Bulgarian writer Jordan Jowkow (1880-1937).
