Yta Farrow (* 1970 in Aix-en-Provence ) is a French ( techno ) singer.

biography

In her childhood she was particularly interested in sports and music. During the disco wave in the 1970s, she came into contact with groups like the Beatles , ABBA and Bee Gees through her sister Hannah .

In 1982 she stayed with an English host family in Brentwood, whose daughter Frances shared her passion for music. It so happened that musicians like Vangelis , Duran Duran , Boy George and Madonna influenced her greatly and she gained a fondness for the English language. In 1983 she went to England again.

After attending the theater group at school, she went to the private theater school l'Espace Potiers in Toulouse in 1985 . In 1987 she passed the entrance exam for the Conservatoir of Dramatic Arts in Toulouse.

After two years at the Conservatoir, which she had fully dedicated to theater, the time seemed ripe for a change in her life. From 1989 she was a singer in a ball orchestra, where she sang songs from various groups such as Bryan Adams , Europe , ZZ Top , Madonna etc. In 1991 she released her first own album, Neptune's child .

In 1999 she released the single Tu es mon île together with the German singer Blümchen , which was only released in France and reached 48th place there. In Germany the song is included on the album Jasmin - Die Fanedition , a special edition of the third studio album by Blümchen.
