Yuanjunmiao and Quanhucun

The archaeological sites Yuanjunmiao and Quanhucun ( Chinese  元君庙-泉护村遗址 , Pinyin Yuánjūnmiào-Quánhùcūn yízhǐ ) are in the immediate vicinity located Neolithic localities of Yangshao culture or Yangshao- and Longshan culture in the district Hua of the prefecture-level city Weinan in Shaanxi Province, China .

They were excavated from 1958–1959 in the large community of Liuzhi柳枝 镇 in the villages of Quanhu 泉 护 村 and Anbao 安 堡村 and have been dated to around −4000 to −2000.

Yuanjunmiao

The tomb of Yuanjunmiao (Yuánjūnmiào mùdì 元君 庙 墓地; Yuan-chün-miao) belongs to the Banpo type of the Yangshao culture . 57 graves were discovered.

Quanhucun

The Quanhucun site (Ch'üan-hu-ts'un), named after the village ( cun ) Quanhu, belongs to the Miaodigou type of the Yangshao culture .

Monuments

The Yuanjunmiao and Quanhucun sites have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China under one number since 2001 .
