Yukiko Ebata ( Japanese 江 畑 幸 子 Ebata Yukiko ; born November 7, 1989 in Akita , Akita Prefecture ) is a Japanese volleyball player . She won the bronze medal at the 2012 Olympics.

Career

Ebata began her career at the Seirei Women's College affiliated with the Secondary School . In 2008 she came to her current club Hitachi Rival . Two years later she was with Hitachi rival champion of the Japanese second division (V. League). In 2010 she also made her debut in the Japanese national team , with whom she finished third at the World Cup . In 2011 Ebata finished second with Japan at the Asian Cup . In 2012 she took part in the Olympic Games in London and won the bronze medal.
