Yves Defraigne
Yves Defraigne (born April 28, 1965 in Gent ) is a Belgian basketball coach .
Defraigne, who has already been named Coach of the Year three times in Belgium, coached the Dexia Mons-Hainaut club in his home country until 2005 , which he led twice to the semi-finals of the Belgian championship. He then moved to BBC Royal Atomia Brussels , where he made it to the first division. He lost his job there when the team had to file for bankruptcy.
In December 2007 Defraigne accepted the offer to become head coach of the German Bundesliga club TBB Trier . He replaced Joe Whelton on leave and, together with his assistant coaches Frank de Meulemeester and Mike Smith, should bring the TBB back on the road to success.
