Yvonne Li
Yvonne Li (born May 30, 1998 ) is a German badminton player .
Career
Yvonne Li started playing badminton at Hamburger SV in 2005. So that she could start playing in the Regionalliga-Nord for the 2012/2013 season, she had to switch to Farmsener TV. Without this change of club, that would not have worked, although at the same time a badminton syndicate with the clubs Hamburger SV, Farmsener TV and VfL 93 was founded. After only one season, Yvonne Li was able to switch back from Farmsener TV to Hamburger SV . In total, she played three years in the Regionalliga-Nord with the FTV-HSV-VfL93 syndicate. In the junior ranking of the Badminton World Federation , she is 10th in the women's singles, 19th in the women's doubles and 12th in the mixed. (As of April 10, 2014) In the European Association , Li is in second place in the women's singles junior category. (As of April 10, 2014) Among the adults, she won bronze in the national championships in 2014 and thus qualified for the 2014 European Badminton Team Championship . Li has been playing for the Bundesliga club SC Union 08 Lüdinghausen since 2015 .
Through her commitment to the international match against Japan on October 10, 2014 in Hamburg, she became the DBV's youngest badminton player to date.
