Badminton Europe
Badminton Europe (short: BE ) is the European umbrella organization for the sport of badminton . The association was founded on September 27, 1967 in Frankfurt am Main as the European Badminton Union (EBU). On April 8, 2006 the name was changed to Badminton Europe . Badminton Europe is a member of the Badminton World Federation . In April 2013 the association name was expanded to Badminton Europe Confederation (BEC). In 2019 Badminton Europe has 53 national associations as members.
