Slovenský zväz bedmintonu
The Slovenský zväz bedmintonu is the highest national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Slovakia . The association was founded on January 1st, 1993 .
history
The association became a member of the Badminton World Federation , at that time still known as the International Badminton Federation , and of the continental umbrella organization Badminton Europe , still operating under the European Badminton Union in 1993 . In 1993 both the Slovak International and the Slovak national championships took place for the first time.
