Eesti Sulgpalliliit
Eesti Sulgpalliliit is the top national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Estonia . The association was founded in 1964 as the Association of the Soviet Republic.
history
After the collapse of the Soviet Union , the association became a member of the Badminton World Federation , then known as the International Badminton Federation , and in the continental umbrella organization Badminton Europe , at that time still operating as the European Badminton Union . In 1965 the national title fights started as championships of the Soviet Republic, in 2001 the international title fights .
