Croatian Badminton Federation

The Croatian Badminton - Federation was in on 18 April 1991 Zagreb founded. It comprises five regional associations in Central ( Zagreb County ), Eastern ( Požega-Slavonia County , Osijek-Baranja County ), South (in Dubrovnik-Neretva County ), North ( County of Međimurje , Koprivnica-Križevci County ) and West Croatia ( Karlovac , Primorje-Gorski kotar ) with a total of 21 badminton clubs and 281 registered badminton players.

founding

The Croatian Badminton Association was founded on April 18, 1991 in the Croatian capital Zagreb , shortly before Croatia's independence on June 25, 1991 from the former multiethnic state of Yugoslavia . The Croatian Badminton Federation has been part of the Croatian Olympic Committee HOO since September 10, 1991, and of the European Badminton Federation and World Badminton Federation since May 10, 1992 . On September 9, 1995, membership of the umbrella organization of the Mediterranean badminton associations COMBEA took place . The President of the Croatian Badminton Federation is Mr. Velimir Čerkez.
