The Badminton Association Føroya (BSF) is the highest national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in the Faroe Islands . The association was founded in 1981.

history

Although national title fights of the Faroe Islands have been played since 1966, created the National Federation until 1981. The association was one year after the founding member of the Badminton World Federation , at that time as International Badminton Federation known and also a member of the continental governing body Badminton Europe to at that time still operating as the European Badminton Union . In 1994 the junior championships started.
