The Badminton Federation of Armenia ( Armenian Հայաստանի բադմինթոնի ֆեդերացիա ) is the top national administrative organization in the sport of badminton in Armenia . The association was founded in 1992.
history
Shortly after its establishment, the association became a member of the Badminton World Federation , then known as the International Badminton Federation and, in 1997, a member of the continental umbrella organization Badminton Europe , which at the time was still operating as the European Badminton Union . The national championships began in the 1996/1997 season, and the junior championships were held for the first time four years earlier .
