BE Junior Circuit
The BE Junior Circuit (abbreviation for Badminton Europe Junior Circuit ) is a European competition series in badminton for young athletes.
history
The competition series was launched by Badminton Europe in the 2001/2002 season in order to combine existing (and future) international junior tournaments in a European rating system. The first circuit consisted of nine individual championships. The individual tournaments are categorized according to their value using grades A, B and C. Category A have only the Dutch Juniors and the German Juniors . The participants receive points in each tournament according to their placement. The best six tournaments are counted, two of which may come from tournaments in the BWF world rankings for adults. If the players start with different partners in the double disciplines, there may also be individual winners in the double scores. In 2009 and 2010, the top two women and men singles at the circuit final for adults determined the winners in a final.
