Rolf-Dieter Dörfler (born April 29, 1946 ) is a former German soccer player . In the 1969/70 season he played a game in the Bundesliga .

Career

In 1969 Dörfler moved from TSV 1860 Rosenheim to the Bundesliga for MSV Duisburg . In Duisburg he reinforced the attack by players such as Johannes Riedl , Karl-Heinz Wißmann , Rainer Budde , Bernd Lehmann and Axel Rzany . Dörfler made his debut under coach Robert Gebhardt when he came on in the 51st minute of the game against Alemannia Aachen . His first game was also his last game in the Bundesliga. After the season, the MSV occupies 15th place in the table, Dörfler moved to the Soccer Regionalliga Süd for 1. Göppinger SV . In the regional league he played 22 games and scored five goals. He made his debut on August 16, 1970 in the 4-2 home win against FC Schweinfurt 05 in the Regionalliga Süd. Heinz Stickel scored three goals and Dörfler managed the goal to make it 4-2. On the last round match day, May 19, 1971, he and the team around the outstanding attacker Willi Hoffmann said goodbye to the second-rate regional league with a 1: 3 defeat at FC Bayern Hof.
