The Farmsener TV (officially: Farmsener Turnverein von 1926 eV ) is a sports club from the Hamburg district of Farmsen . The first women's football team took part twice in the final round of the German championship.

history

The association was founded in 1926. In addition to football, the club offers badminton , ice hockey , handball , athletics , back training , swimming , skat , skiing , steel darts , dancing , tennis , table tennis , gymnastics and fitness . On July 13, 1956, dissatisfied members split off as SC Condor Hamburg .

Soccer

The women's team qualified as Hamburg champions for the first time in 1977 for the final round of the German championship. Despite a 2-1 first leg win at TuS Niederkirchen , the team missed the quarter-finals after a 2-3 defeat in the second leg in their own place due to the away goals rule . A year later , the FTV women prevailed in round one against SV Schlierstadt and then just failed in the quarter-finals at KBC Duisburg . After the club temporarily did not provide a women's team, a team has been playing in the small field league since 2014.

The B-Juniors of Farmsener TV became Hamburg champions in 2013 and played for promotion to the B-Juniorinnen-Bundesliga . In the promotion round, the team failed at TSG Ahlten .

In 1960, the men made it to the second highest division in Hamburg , which was called the Association League, but had to relegate again after a year. In 1964 it was promoted again, before it went down one class again in 1970. In 2011, he was relegated to the lowest division, the district class. Since the direct resurgence, the Farmsener play in the district league, from which the team had to relegate in 2017.

ice Hockey

In 1990 the 1st EHC Hamburg had to file for bankruptcy and was dissolved. As a successor, the FTV Crocodiles was founded in Farmsener TV . This has since been outsourced as Crocodiles Hamburg and made it to the 2nd Bundesliga . In 2001 the game had to be stopped and the department returned to the FTV. The team has been playing in the third-tier Oberliga Nord since 2010.

Handball

The handball department and the handball department of Oberalster VfW form the HSG Oberalster / Farmsen gaming community . The first men's team plays in the district league.
