Yvonne Ribi

Yvonne Ribi (born August 27, 1976 ) is a Swiss nurse and managing director of the Swiss professional association of nursing professionals SBK .

Current positions

Yvonne Ribi has been the managing director of the Swiss professional association of nursing professionals SBK since July 2013 . She is responsible for the operational management of the association, which with around 25,000 members is one of the largest professional associations in the Swiss health care system. She is also Vice President of the Swiss Society for Health Policy (SGGP) , a member of the board of the Swiss Association of Professional Organizations in the Health Care System (SVBG) and a member of the Board of Directors of the Institute for Association, Foundation and Cooperative Management (VMI).

Career

Yvonne Ribi obtained her diploma as a qualified nurse DNII at the Thurgauisch-Schaffhausische Schule für Allgemeine Krankenpflege (TSKS), Frauenfeld (today Education Center for Health and Social Affairs Thurgau). From 1998 to 2007 she worked in various positions at the University Hospital Zurich at the Clinic for Trauma and Reconstructive Surgery. From 2003 to 2009 she was managing director of the SG TG AI AR section of the SBK. She has been working for SBK Switzerland since 2009, initially as a specialist assistant, from 2011 to 2012 as deputy managing director and since 2013 she has been managing director of the association. She holds an Executive Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Freiburg (graduated in 2011).
