The Zügen Gorge is a three kilometer long passage created by the Landwasser between Wiesen and Monstein in the Davos landscape .

The gorge is framed by the Steig and Silberberg rock formations .

The Davos – Filisur cantonal road crossed the gorge until 1974 . Since then, like the Davos Platz – Filisur railway of the Rhaetian Railway, it has been laid as a Landwasser tunnel in the mountain. The old trains road is passable for walkers and as a rock trail expelled.

Since the Zügen Gorge often had to be closed due to the risk of avalanches, the Rhaetian Railway between Davos Glaris and Wiesen offered car transport as required in the winter months up to 1974 .
