Zabdas
Zabdas (also: Zambdas or Zamudas ; † around 300) was bishop of Jerusalem under Emperor Diocletian .
Very little is known about Zabdas, Eusebius of Caesarea only passes on his name without giving details of his administration. From his name it is inferred that he came from Syria . The exact date of his term of office is disputed. While a short term in office is usually assumed to be in the years 298-300, there is also information that he took office in 276. What is only certain is that he was the successor of Hymenaios and was replaced by Hermon himself .
