Zafar Babajanov (born February 9, 1987 in Daşoguz ) is a Turkmen football player .

Career

Babajanov played for FC Balkan in his home country . With this club he reached the Turkmen football championship twice in a row under the leadership of the Turkish coach İsmail Demiriz .

In the winter transfer period of the 2012/13 season he moved to the Turkish TFF 1st Lig for the Istanbul club Kartalspor .

Babajanov is also said to have already played two international matches for the selection of Turkmenistan .
