Zaiful Nizam (born July 24, 1987 in Singapore ), with full name Zaiful Nizam bin Abdullah , is a Singaporean football player .
Career
society
Zaiful Nizam learned to play football at the National Football Academy in Singapore. He signed his first contract with Gombak United in 2009 . The club played in the first division, the S. League . After the club decided to withdraw from the league in 2013 for financial reasons, he moved to Balestier Khalsa after 60 first division games in early 2013 . With the club he won the Singapore League Cup in 2013 . In the final they defeated Brunei DPMM FC 4-0. A year later he won the Singapore Cup with Khalsa . Home United were beaten 3-1 in the final. In 2015 he was back in the final of the League Cup with Khalsa. The final was lost to Albirex Niigata (Singapore) 2-1.
National team
Zaiful Nizam played twice for the Singapore national team . He made his international debut on June 6, 2015 in a friendly against Brunei .
