Lion City Sailors , formerly Home United Football Club , is a professional football club from the S.League , Singapore's professional league . Until it was renamed Home United in 1997, the club was known as Police FC. He is one of the founding members of the S.League .
The greatest international success was reaching the semi-finals in the AFC Cup 2004.
On February 14, 2020, it was announced that Singaporean billionaire Forrest Li had acquired a 100% stake in the club. Home United Football Club was officially renamed Lion City Sailors Football Club. The club was privatized for the first time in its history. Home United's signature red jerseys and badge have been replaced with white shirts and a blue crest.
