Song Ui-young ( kor. 송의영 ; born November 8, 1993 in Incheon ) is a South Korean football player .

Career

Song Ui-young learned to play soccer on the school team at Yeouido High School in South Korea . He signed his first contract with Roasso Kumamoto in Japan in 2011 . The club from Kumamoto prefecture played in the second division, the J2 League . After 18 second division games and two goals, he moved back to his home country in 2012. Here he joined the second division club Suwon FC from Suwon in early 2012 . From July 2012 to December 2012, he was loaned to Home United . The Singapore club played in the country's highest league, the S. League . After the loan ended, he was signed by Home . In 2013 and 2018 he was runner-up with the club. He won the Singapore Cup in 2013. In the final, they defeated Tanjong Pagar United 4-1. He won the Singapore Community Shield in 2019. The game against Albirex Niigata (Singapore) was won on penalties. In 2020 the club was renamed from Home United to Lion City Sailors .
