Zakari Gourouza

Zakari Gourouza (born June 8, 1982 in Dosso ) is a Nigerien judoka .

Gorouza reached 7th place in the weight class up to 60 kilograms at the African Judo Championships 2012 in Agadir . He was the only judoka of Niger to take part in the 2012 Summer Olympics in London . He defeated Kenny Godoy from Honduras in the first round of the preliminary round and had to admit defeat to the Russian Arsen Schorajewitsch Galstjan in the second round . Gourouza then switched from the weight class up to 60 kilograms to the weight class up to 66 kilograms. He was a participant of the African Judo Championships 2013 in Maputo and the African Judo Championships 2015 in Libreville , where he was eliminated in the round of 16.
