Zakaria Aboukhlal (born February 18, 2000 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch soccer player Libyan - Moroccan descent. He is under contract with AZ Alkmaar and is a young Dutch national player.
Career
society
The son of a father from Libya and a mother from Morocco began playing football in Gorinchem in the province of South Holland when he played for GVV Unitas and GVV Raptim. In 2009 he moved to the previously established soccer school of Willem II Tilburg and the RKC Waalwijk (RJO Willem II / RKC), which was dissolved again in 2014 before Aboukhlal joined the joint soccer school of PSV Eindhoven , FC Eindhoven and VVV- Venlo and Helmond Sport (RJO PSV-EHV) joined. He made his debut in the Eredivisie on May 12, 2019 in the 0-1 defeat of PSV Eindhoven on the penultimate matchday at AZ Alkmaar .
On August 27, 2019 Aboukhlal moved to AZ Alkmaar and signed a contract until June 30, 2023.
National team
Zakaria Aboukhlal played five games for the Dutch U16 team and took part in the 2017 European Championship in Croatia with the Dutch U17 national team. There his team reached the quarter-finals, in which the Dutch were eliminated by Germany . Until he was eliminated, Aboukhlal was used in all four games and played a total of 12 games for the U17, in which he scored five goals. In the following years he played three games for the Dutch U18 team and ten games for the Dutch U19 national team (two goals). He is currently used for the Dutch U20 team .
