The Zato L 3 and the derived sports model Zato L 3 S are sports cars from the former German automobile manufacturer Zato Gesellschaft für Fahrzeugentwicklung mbH from Niederbreitbach . The L stands for lightweight construction, and the 3 for consumption per 100 km, which starts with a 3. A total of either six or eight copies were made.

History of origin

Development began in 1995. The first vehicle was presented on July 30, 1996. In 1999 the sports model L 3 S added to the range. Production ended around 2001.
