Zaynab Dosso (born September 12, 1999 ) is an Italian sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter run .

Athletic career

Zaynab Dosso gained her first international experience in 2016 when she took fourth place in the first European Youth Championships in Tbilisi in 11.83 seconds and won the bronze medal in the Italian sprint relay (1000 meters) in 2: 08.99 minutes. Only a few days later she took part in the 4 x 100 meter relay at the U20 World Championships in Bydgoszcz , but did not reach the final there with 45.50 seconds. The following year she reached the semi-finals at the U20 European Championships in Grosseto , where she was eliminated with 11.99 s, while she did not reach the final with the relay in 45.11 s. In 2019 she failed at the U23 European Championships in Gävle with 12.12 s in the first round and finished seventh in the relay in 45.29 s.

In 2019 and 2020 , Dosso became Italian 100-meter champion.
