The Glücklicher Hermann colliery in Hattingen - Blankenstein is a former hard coal mine . The colliery arose from a consolidation ; Little is reported about the mine.

history

Good luck

The Längenfeld Gutglück in Hattingen-Blankenstein was already mentioned in the documents in 1748. Although the field was measured in 1774 , it is not known whether the length field was also awarded afterwards. Two years later, another suspicion was put in to a mine field near what is now Blankensteiner Mühle . The muted field was north of the Hermann colliery. In the year 1800 the legal rights comprised four seams . Until 1811 there was no dismantling in the Längenfeld , in the same year there was consolidation with the Zeche Hermann to the Zeche Glücklicher Hermann.

The other years

In 1811, the Hermann colliery consolidated with the Längenfeld Gutglück. The length field was not scratched at this point. The Abraham shaft was present on the mine field of the Hermann colliery, the shaft had a depth of 32¾ laughs . On February 20, 1813, three length fields were reassigned to entitlement . In the following year the Abraham shaft was only used for ventilation . The mined coal was conveyed through the tunnel and from there on to the Ruhr. From 1815 onwards the production decreased to only minor amounts. In 1820, the Glücklicher Hermann colliery consolidated with further mines to form the Hermanns Gesegnete Schiffahrt colliery .
