The Neue Mißgunst colliery in Bochum 's Wiemelhausen district, Brenschede district, is a former hard coal mine . The colliery was also known as the Neuemisgunst colliery .
Mining history
In 1740, a mining license was issued to explore the deposit . In 1749 the assumption was made for a mine field . On July 2, 1754, a length field near the Laerheide was awarded . However, the seam that was in the Längenfeld had already been worked on by means of overexploitation by digging . After the award, the field was opened up by tunnels . In addition, a shaft was sunk , but no dismantling took place at that time . In 1756 coal mining began. In the same year the shaft was put into operation. In the following years the mine was in operation until 1763. In 1774 there was a shaft that had been sunk in a different seam. In 1782, consolidated the bill New disfavor with the bill Unvermuthetglück to & Unvermuthetglück colliery New jealousy .
