The Unvermuthetglück colliery in Bochum-Querenburg- Laer is a former hard coal mine . The mine was also known under the names Zeche Das Unvermuthete Glück and Zeche Unexpected Glück .

Mining history

In 1767 a guess was made under the name "The Unexpected Luck No. 1, 2 et 3". Then the tunnel was created. The starting point for the tunnel was in the transition area from Dannebergs Siepen to Krucks Siepen. The drifting of the tunnel was carried out almost when the seam was drawn . 1769 requested the trades for the tunnel, the Erbstollenrecht . However, this right was not granted . The mine was in operation at the time. In 1774 there was a shaft . In the same year, the Israel and Unexpected Luck seams were measured . Since the mine owners had not paid the recess money, the mine field fell back into the mountain free . 1782 parts of the mine were together with the coal mine New envy to & Unvermuthetglück colliery New jealousy consolidated . In 1796, the area around shaft 3 (Isabella shaft) was mined . In 1800 the Ahlen shaft and the Isabella shaft were in operation. In 1804 the Theodor shaft was in operation. In the following year, the remaining beneficiaries were consolidated into the Neue Mißgunst & Unvermuthetglück colliery.
