The Strauss colliery in Wetter-Albringhausen is a former coal mine . The mine was also known as the Zeche Straaß .
Mining history
A length field was awarded on May 20, 1705 . From 1735 the mine was in operation for several years. From 1739 the mine was idle. In the years 1754 and 1755 the mine was in pursuant to paragraph shortage deadlines set. The mine was surveyed in 1774 . From 1837, the mine was closed for several years. In 1845 the mine was put back into operation. Funding was given by cutting off the Post shaft of the United Friedrich Wilhelm colliery . This year, 10,180 bushels of hard coal were extracted with three miners . The mine was about Friedrich Wilhelm Erbstolln solved . On February 7, 1846, the Strauss colliery was shut down.
