The Friedrich Wilhelm Erbstolln is a former Erbstollen in Wetter - Esborn . The Erbstollen was also known under the names Friedrich Wilhelm , Friedrich Wilhelm Stolln and Friedrich Wilhelm Erbstollen modo Flachsteich . Its mouth is located in the Elbschebach Witten Bommerholz nature reserve .
history
On 16 May 1801, was Erbstollenrecht for the Friedrich Wilhelm Erbstolln to the union flat pond awarded . In 1805, the tunnel mouth hole on the Elbe stream above Wenger Mühlenteich was set up and tunneling to the south began. In 1810, light hole 3 was completed and the tunnel was driven further. In 1813 the mining field of the Flachsteich colliery was solved by Friedrich Wilhelm Erbstolln . In 1815, the tunnel in the Flachsteich field was driven further. In 1817 the Luther shaft was sunk . In the following year, the dismantling of the Luther shaft began. In 1820 the Friedrich and Luther shafts were in operation.
In October 1822 the Friedrich Wilhelm Erbstolln was shut down. In 1825 the tunnel was put back into operation under the name Flachsteich. On March 22, 1830 , the Erbstollen consolidated with further mines to form the United Friedrich Wilhelm mine .
