Zee Cine Award / Best Directing Debut
The Zee Cine Award for Most Promising Director is a category of the Indian film award Zee Cine Award : the award for the best directorial debut.
It was first awarded in 2004. In 2002 the Zee Cine Special Award for Debut Director was presented once for the best directorial debut . Has won him then Farhan Akhtar for Dil Chahta Hai . The prize for the best directorial debut has only been officially awarded by a jury since 2004 and announced in March.
