Tent Festival Constance
The tent festival Konstanz is an annual music festival in Konstanz on Lake Constance , which usually takes place in June on "Little Venice". In the large beer garden on the lakeshore there is an open-air stage on which regional greats present themselves. The tent festival took place for the first time in 1995 and paused between 2008 and 2014 because the event was no longer cost-covering. With the participation of the cities of Konstanz and Kreuzlingen, the tent festival 2015 was able to be revived as a cross-border cultural event. From May 27th to June 5th, 2016 the tent festival took place exclusively in Konstanz. In 2017 the tent festival will no longer take place for economic reasons.
National and international artists of various genres performed in the covered main tent. The highlights in the main tent included performances by Bob Dylan , BB King , Michael Mittermeier , Gianna Nannini , Patricia Kaas , Al Jarreau , Manfred Mann's Earth Band , BAP and Jethro Tull . On the open-air stage, it is mainly regional stars who entertain the guests in the beer garden.
