Johannes Dott

Johannes Dott (* 1892 in Cologne , † 1969 in Leverkusen ) was a German local politician . From 1946 to 1949, from 1951 to 1954 and from 1956 to 1961 he was mayor of the city of Leverkusen and member of the CDU ,

Dott was a member of the city council from 1945 to 1951. He has been awarded the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st class, and since 1962 the City of Leverkusen Ring of Honor . A street in Schlebusch was named after him. Dott was married and had a son.
