Centimeter waves are electromagnetic waves with wavelengths cm of 1-10, which corresponds to a frequency of about 30-3 Giga hertz corresponds. The frequency band is also known as the SHF band ( Super High Frequency ).
Centimeter waves are used, among other things, in directional radio , radar and satellite broadcasting . Frequencies around 2.45 GHz and 5.8 GHz are used for RFID .
