Destroyed in Seconds (original title Destroyed in Seconds ) is a docu-soap that is about disasters and accidents . Typically it is about scenarios in which an object is destroyed by the respective catastrophe in a short time ("in seconds"). The series is moderated by ex-football professional Ron Pitts .

The series deals with disasters, accidents and dangerous situations such as explosions , plane crashes or floods . Those affected mostly escaped the dangerous situation unharmed or only with minor injuries and report how they perceived the incident. The respective event is shown and described in detail so that the viewer can explain the cause.
