The Zerwirkgewölbe in Munich - Old Town (Graggenauer Viertel) is the second oldest building in the city and dates from the end of the 13th century.

history

Around 1600 the building served as a falcon house. From 1733 to 1808 it belonged to the Hofbräu brewery . Later it was used as a butcher's shop for venison, from which the name of the building is derived. The building at Ledererstraße 3 is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments. It essentially consists of two vaulted halls one above the other. After 1726 it was rebuilt several times.

Until the end of 2019, it housed dining facilities: the Brasseria Fedora Bar + Cucina , Spezlwirtschaft and the Disco Crux . From 2020 the building will be completely renovated and will be converted into a Bavarian inn.
