Zhang Yi (General, † 255)
Zhang Yi ( Chinese 張 嶷 / 张仪 , Pinyin Zhāng Yí ; † 255 ) was a general of the Shu Empire in China at the time of the Three Kingdoms . In Zhuge Liang's Southern Campaign , he contributed to the crackdown on the Nanman tribes under Meng Huo . He later fell during a campaign by Jiang Wei against the Wei Empire while distracting the enemy from Jiang Wei.
He is mentioned in the novel The Story of the Three Kingdoms .
