Zhaoyang ( 昭阳 区 , Zhāoyáng Qū ) is a municipality in the prefecture -level city of Zhaotong in the northeast of the Chinese province of Yunnan on the border with Guizhou province . The city district has an area of ​​2,240 km² and has around 770,000 inhabitants (2004).
