The Zhelev Peak (English, Bulgarian Желев връх Zhelev wrach ) is a 1650 m high and rocky mountain at the Loubet coast of Graham lands north of the Antarctic Peninsula . On the west coast of the Pernik Peninsula, it rises 12.85 km southeast of Álvarez Point , 8.2 km southwest of Barziya Peak , 17.15 km northeast of Bartholin Peak and 15.35 km east of Hooke Point . Its steep western slopes are partly not icy. The Lallemand Fjord is to the west, the Field Glacier to the north, the Naresne Glacier to the northeast and the Haefeli Glacier to the south-southeast of it.
British scientists mapped it in 1978. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2016 after the Bulgarian politician Schelju Schelew (1935–2015), President of Bulgaria from 1990 to 1997, for his support for the Bulgarian Antarctic Program.
