The Pernik Peninsula ( Bulgarian полуостров Перник poluostrow Pernik ) is an icy and 40 km long peninsula on the Loubet coast in the east of Graham Land on the Antarctic Peninsula . It is bounded by Darbel Bay in the northeast, Lallemand Fjord in the west and Crystal Sound in the northwest, while its northern part is dominated by Protector Heights .
The British Antarctic Survey mapped the peninsula in 1976. The Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it on September 14, 2010 after the Bulgarian city of Pernik .
